- All Adult leaders who work directly with youth must be trained in the youth protection course.
- Leaders will have until June of 2005 to comply with the new policy.
- Leaders who have completed youth protection training in the past will be required to take the course again to comply with the policy and receive their new certification card.
- Each leader upon completion of the course will receive a numbered certification card.
- After June 2005 the number from the certification card will be required for adult leaders to register for Camporees, Klondikes, tour permits, weekend camping and summer camps.
- The new youth protection card will be valid for 5 years from the date of completion.
