Salmon, trout, bass, walleye, pike, muskie, shad and panfish– The Finger Lakes Region has it all. Everyone 16 and older needs a license in order to fish New York’s fresh waters. Licenses are available at all town clerk offices, many village and county clerk offices, and most sporting goods and retail stores. A complete list of all places to fish would take up a lot of space and would be overwhelming, so just think of the local fishing holes round your home town, grab a can of worms and go have some fun.
