Three Steps to Training -- Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Venturing Leaders:

            First: Fast Start 
            Second: New Leader Essentials (same for all programs; take just once), Youth Protection, and Position Specifics (Basic) Training, for your program.
            Third: Supplementary and Advanced Courses: such as University of Scouting/Pow Wow, Baloo, Safety Afloat and Wood Badge.  Take Trainer Development Conference to train others!
