OA @ Summer Camp Hot Dog Sale: With Check-in at Camp Babcock-Hovey being 1 pm on Sunday, you can pick up some lunch provided by Ganeodiyo Lodge. We are selling hot dogs for your enjoyment near the trading post from Noon to 3pm. Hope to see you there. A Hot Dog and chips are $2. Water is free, but other drinks are available at the Trading Post. Chief of the Week: On Monday at lunch, we offer a rare opportunity where any youth Arrowmen can serve as Chief for a week! His responsibilities will be to organize and emcee the Wednesday night campfire. He will be guided by the adviser of the week, who will be selected at the same meeting. For their great service they will receive a token for their great service. The chief of the week cannot also be getting his brotherhood in the same week due to the time conflict of the two events. OA Day: Wednesday Order of the Arrow Day, you can wear your Lodge T-shirt and for dinner you wear your sash with your Class A Uniform. Then after dinner, there is the OA campfire where troops are asked to perform a skit or song lasting no longer than 5 minutes. Club Turtle: After the campfire, Arrowmen are specially invited to ‘club turtle’ which is our time to meet and greet fellow Arrowmen and share in brotherhood by playing games and eating cracker barrel food. Brotherhood Wednesday nights at summer camp you are encouraged to seal your membership with the Order by going through your brotherhood ceremony. All you need to do is show up and bring a letter, explaining how you have served your unit over the past year and what the principles of the Order mean to you, and $15. This $15 covers the price of your new sash. You will miss the OA campfire but will be able to enjoy the Ice Cream Social.
