Campsites: All scouts, leaders and staff stay in platformed tents or lean-tos and sleep on bunks.  Each site has electricity, water and a campfire area.  Fire areas are designated and have fire extinguishers located nearby in case of a fire emergency. Troops are asked to only build fires in the designated areas.  Everyone should bring sleeping bags or blankets/sheets and pillows to make their own bed.

Showers: There are several shower houses at camp with hours designated especially for campers, staff, and women.

Bathrooms: There are toilets located in the shower houses and latrines located throughout camp to accommodate Scouts and Scouters.  All camp sites have latrines and running water.

Eating: The dining hall offers three meals a day, served family style.  Along with the regular menu a salad bar is also available. If Scouts or leaders have special dietary needs, please let the council know. There is a Trading Post available with many different types of snacks and drinks, so bring some spending money.  Troops that bring their own snacks are encouraged to have them in animal-safe containers.

Campfires & Troop Activities: All of Babcock-Hovey's campsites are spacious with room to play, and have areas for fire-building and campfire cooking.
